INTRICATE has provided precision manufacturing solutions for 25 years from our home in Roanoke, Virginia. Our expertise in this area is well exemplified by our metal forming automation systems. At INTRICATE, we design, engineer, manufacture, test, and assemble automation systems for a wide range of applications. This includes manufacturing, assemblies, conveyor systems, motion control and drive systems, pick and place, and robotic systems, among others. Our automated systems support Allen Bradley platforms, and a variety of protocols including CANBUS, profibus, RS-232, RS-485, and Ethernet. At our facility, we can perform both destructive and non-destructive testing, as well as additional services such as assembly, laser marking, and laser etching. To maintain the highest standards of quality, our facility provides a number of quality control measures; including in-line vision inspection, multi-point inspections, in-process quality control, and statistical process control (SPC). We can accommodate orders that require volumes from prototypes to large production runs, with a typical lead time of 12 weeks. We are ITS 16949 and ISO 9001 certified, as well as meeting the high standards set by organizations such as the IMDS and the ASTM. This is a developing capability for process and product design as implemented.
